Michel de Launoit
Born in Uccle in 1967, Michel de Launoit has combined entrepreneurship with cultural passion for over 30 years. Founder of Tourne Sol Production, he has showcased Belgian offbeat humor with Manu Thoreau, Stéphane De Groodt, Charlie Dupont, and Marie-Paule Kumps, broadcast on Canal+, France 2, RTBF, and Be TV. As co-producer of films such as Fauteuils d’orchestre (D. Thompson) and Alive (F. Berthe), he was also a pioneer in crowdfunding with Akamusic, producing artists like Frédéric Etherlinck (Eurovision), Matthieu Bioul (Sony), and Brice (Polydor). For the past five years, he has been a member of the group Bil&Gin, now releasing their third electro-pop album. In 2014, he co-founded MIMA, the Brussels museum of urban and contemporary art, now a major cultural landmark. Curious and visionary, he continues to build bridges between artists, audiences, and innovation.
