Mélanie De Biasio
Born on July 12, 1978, in Charleroi, Belgium, Mélanie De Biasio is a singer-songwriter at the crossroads of jazz, vocal jazz, and soul jazz. After an early musical education (flute, singing, Royal Conservatory of Brussels), she became famous for her whispered voice, the result of a long vocal loss at the start of her career, enriched by extreme sensitivity. Her albums, including No Deal and Lilies, have earned critical acclaim and numerous awards, while her concerts attract international enthusiasm. Driven by a sincere artistic quest, she founded L’Alba, the “house of shared talents” in Charleroi, creating a cultural gathering place to support creators. Mélanie De Biasio embodies both a powerful and intimate presence, where voice, space, and silence interact to touch the soul.
