María Inés Rodríguez
María Inés Rodríguez is a Colombian-French curator. Currently leading the Walter Leblanc Foundation in Brussels, where she is engaged in the comprehensive reorganization of the foundation. Simultaneously, she holds the position of Artistic Director of Tropical Papers, an inclusive cultural forum created in 2005.
Rodriguez’s professional background includes leadership and curatorial roles at the institutional level. Deeply committed to promoting dialogue between artistic creation and its historical, political, and social contexts, she has consistently advocated for the interconnectedness of art with broader cultural implications, both locally and globally.
She was the Director of the CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain in Bordeaux (France), Curator at Large for Modern and Contemporary art at Museu de Arte de Sāo Paulo, MASP; Chief Curator at the MUAC in Mexico City, as well as at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (MUSAC) in Spain and guest curator at the Jeu de Paume in Paris.
