Since 2011, Gilles Ledure has been the general and artistic director of Flagey, establishing it as a landmark in Brussels’ cultural life. Trained in musicology at KU Leuven and the Sorbonne, he held leadership positions at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre National de Lille. President of the Queen Elisabeth Competition jury for instrumental sessions since 2019, he also serves on numerous boards in Belgium and abroad. Knight of Arts and Letters, he combines artistic expertise with civic engagement in the service of music and cultural dialogue.
